Pam was the charge nurse on duty the first few nights my father was in the hospital for pneumonia. Pam was so nice and caring, not only for my Dad but for me as well. I was very worried and struggling with how to care for my father long term. She listened to my concerns and how I struggled with my Dad's dementia. As I cried out of pure exhaustion, she stepped in and spoke so kindly to him and helped to calm him down, which in turn calmed me.
Pam treated him with such care, dignity, and love. It was such a blessing and really helped to set the stage for our week-long stay! Pam is a gem and a great example for the younger nurses and students.
