Our beloved D went to the hospital with severe stomach pain; however, she unfortunately did not recover and was unexpectedly called home to God exactly one week later. During this troubling week, Jewel came into our family. She gave her whole heart into making sure D was comfortable and to make sure our family was cared for. She made food on her own time and brought it to the hospital, serving all of us as we came at different times throughout the day to share our final moments with our D. She was truly an angel sent from heaven, and words will never be enough to describe the way she went above and beyond for all of us. She never left our side, and even cleared out a spare room so our family had a private place to grieve with each other. We are humbly in debt to her, and will always hold her in high regard for helping ease our pain through this very troubling time.
