Corinne is one of those really really special human beings. She is amazing with patients and an amazing preceptor as well. I love to hear her explain things to her patients, she does so in such a wonderfully calm and loving tone.
When you walk into work and see Corinne's name on the board you are happy.
As her manager, I feel as though she can handle anything that comes her way. She juggles a full-time job with full-time school, she is currently in a Nurse Practitioner program. NOT an easy thing to do.
She is med-surge certified as well as being the ONLY Bariatric Certified Nurse in the hospital. It's a really hard test.
Corinne gets many compliments from her patients, she was mentioned in the MAGNET document for being Bariatric Certified.

She is always smiling and friendly yet professional and very knowledgeable in explaining each medication and injection. She handles the most difficult patients on the floor with her gentle, kind yet firm manner. Watching her and other staff, I became aware that hospital jobs are harder than I imagined. I would not work here. Yet, they come to work each day determined to do the best for their patients."
