I have known Carol for the past 3 years working together on the floor. regardless of the time or situation, even if it is alast minute request to take care of the needs of the veterans as well as the cooworkers with a smile.This one attitude is so hard to find in a stressful field like nursing. A most recent example would be from yesterday, she was th eonly CNA on the floor and the floor itself was with high acuity patient and any help you ask her she was right there. This was in spite of her being pulled in every direction by the other staff. The good part of it is or the best of it is that she did finish the work without any complaints. That is the attitude I am looking forward to when I am working with a team. I hear a lot of compliments from staff of her kind of work ethic. It is not just with the staff she maintains this attitude, th veterans love her too which is obvious by the number of gold stars she has recieved over the years. Amazing I would think!
She definelty deserves a DAISY award, my writing or my words are not enough to describe her amazing work. You will know her personality right at the moment you meet her. Carol rocks, she is a big assest to nursing. I hope we get more people like her. She is a good role model. Keep up the good work Carol, You are always a motivator!!
