Nurse Pham was an outstanding component of my care and stay here at LBVAMC. She showed great compassion for how I was feeling. Taking care to bring me comfort and a smile to my face when I was dejected.
She went out of her way to stay on top of my care and needs. Advocating my thoughts and frustrations to doctors when a concern or issue arose. She was empathetic hands down providing me a level of comfort a mother would give during my lumbar puncture procedures. She held my hand, rubbed my back and assured me it would be ok. Nurse Pham instilled a high level of trust in me and my family by always being forthcoming with information and showing her care and empathy in all she did for her patients. I personally admire Nurse Pham's dedication to her patients and job and the love she has and shows for both without resolve. Her love of others is an automatic nature in her that others should strive to welcome into their work life as well as everyday life. She's always going out of her way to bring a smile, comfort, get to know the patient, explain all to the patient and provide the best quality care without thought to herself or an easy way out. She doesn't only do these things because it's her job, she does it because she loves it and truly cares for others. To me, she is a guide to strive to be like in all things. She's the brightest star in the galaxy- the North Star, the star that is considered the compass in life and that's how I view and feel about Nurse Nguyet Pham.
