Kerri is an exceptional nurse. I have had the privilege to work alongside her since hired in 2017. She always goes above and beyond for her patients. I have witnessed her on numerous occasions, question orders, doctors, or medications in pursuit of being a patient advocate. There is no doubt that Kerri puts her patients first.
I worked with Kerri one night when she had a patient who seemed relatively uncomplicated based on her diagnosis and symptoms. The NA discovered while doing vitals that the patient's body temperature was unnaturally low. The NA brought the abnormality to Kerri's attention and Kerri was quick to act. Kerri immediately took a rectal temperature to get a true reading. The patient was hypothermic. Kerri notified the on-call physician and proceeded to carry out their orders to treat the patient. Kerri was persistence to ensure that all aspects of treatment were addressed. The patient was eventually transferred to a higher level of care. Which can be in largely attributed to Kerri's quick action and tenacious attitude.
Chester County is better for having nurses like Kerri. She is the type of nurse I that I would hope my loved ones had should they ever require hospitalization.
