In his Junior year at Hunter College, Fabio was a participant in the 2013 Maimonides Nursing Department Summer Extern Program. He made a positive impression and we were happy to welcome him as a novice nurse on Gellman 8 West.
His decision to become a nurse occurred when his father was hospitalized. One particular nurse impressed him, always going above and beyond in her care. From that point on, "I knew that becoming a nurse was what I wanted to do". His parents are very proud of him.
Fabio is currently applying for Senior Staff status and is studying for his Medical/Surgical certification.
