I have been Kendra's coworker for over 10 years. She was my preceptor when I was a patient care tech, and as a registered nurse. I have watched and learned many amazing skills from Kendra. I have seen her save the lives of so many NICU babies. Kendra teaches terrified parents how to care for their precious new baby, before they are discharged home. I have witnessed her in tears as she comforted a mother who had to say goodbye to her baby too soon. Kendra is not only an amazing nurse, but also an incredible teacher. She created videos for specific NICU skills, so that new NICU nurses could practice and perfect each task. She has trained many new nurses who are now veteran NICU nurses. Kendra is a true DAISY Nurse!
