Sam's presence during my time in Cedar Park Regional Medical Center helped me simply by who he is. His appearance resembled that of my brother who lives in Colorado, making it feel like another family member was there (while none of my family was). Sam's connection with me just made my stay much easier because I felt I had a brother right there with me. Not only that, but the gentleness of his voice helped to ease my stress of being in the condition I was in. I cannot thank Sam enough for being there when I needed someone as kind as him. He was always sure to be respectful, polite, courteous, and genuine. Sam's complete attention to my care and needs showed how much he truly cared for those in ICU as well as around him.
Sam showed a level of care for me that will stay with me forever. Sam, thank you, you will never be forgotten, and you will remain in my prayers.
