Julie was Amazing! She was so kind and sweet. She did everything she could to make my son feel comfortable (even bringing him a bowl and spoon to eat his Goldfish, at his request.) She checked on us frequently asking if we needed anything and took such great care in checking gently and quietly as possible as he slept. She even walked me all the way to the parking garage to meet my husband to get our stuff to stay overnight. I feel she went above and beyond to keep us calm and comfortable during a time that was startling and scary, especially for a 4-year-old. Even when my son was having a hard time understanding what was going on and was crying, she used the softest tone and comforted him. We were so lucky to have Julie as our nurse and that we were able to see her before we left the next day. We were truly sad when her shift ended in the morning! Everyone would be so lucky to have Julie as their nurse!

My 12-year-old son is very stoic and private. He had to stay in the hospital longer than expected and had significant pain and complications. We were so grateful to have Julie as his night nurse for two nights in a row. She was kind and compassionate. Moreover, she was sensitive to his privacy and allowed him to do things in the way he was most comfortable. Rather than telling him what to do she listened to him and asked questions so that she could make sure he had exactly what he needed. When he needed to urinate bedside and was uncomfortable she set things up so he could have his privacy and still remain safe. She was so patient and attentive to all his needs bringing him a warm blanket when he was cold and encouraging him to eat and drink with his difficult meds. She was excellent in every way!
