I wish to commend Janice Kozakiewicz, the nurse who not only had a huge impact on my stay, but a very important person who kept me sane during my much unexpected 5 day stay. After a late night spike of a high fever, my nerves were shot and Janice happened to walk into my room as I was crying. She noticed I was upset, and immediately did everything she could to stop my tears, and calm me down. She took the time out of her busy day to tell me a personal story to make me feel better, and stayed with me until I was ok. Not only did Janice make me feel comfortable the entire time, what meant the most is that she was honest with me. I immediately built up a rapport with her where I could ask her input and opinions about my health, and knew I could trust her decision. She went out of her way to make sure I was always comfortable and smiling.
I hope you realize what an amazing, talented, and dedicated nurse Janice is, and how lucky you are to have on your staff. She not only is an asset to this floor, but this hospital. She has made a lasting impression on me, and I pray to God I don't ever need to be back in any of the rooms on 2B, but if I am I can only hope I will have Janice by my side.
