I recently had to have a cardiac catheterization procedure done. Brenda was my nurse that day. She went above and beyond taking care of me, providing me information, explaining everything she was doing and finding answers when needed. When I started having some problems after the procedure she did not hesitate to find my doctor to have him come in and check me. After it was determined I would need to spend the night she worked very hard to get me into a room, because that floor was so busy it took several hours to move me. Brenda didn't stop trying to get things done. She kept me informed all afternoon and into early evening even though she had been at the hospital since 6 am and it was now 8 pm and you would have never known it. She was available and compassionate as she waited with me as if I was her only patient. She truly deserves this award.
