I was recently hospitalized at Kootenai Hospital for a very serious virus. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have been admitted from ER to your 1 West Wing for 3 days of care. I would like to personally congratulate you and all of your staff's dedication to the most compassionate care during my stay! Your nursing staff was all top notch! I would especially like to express how impressed I was with one nurse named Heather. She deserves to be recognized for her abilities as a nurse and as a very diligent and caring person. I always felt like Heather was my personal advocate. She went above and beyond to always keep me informed of my testing schedule, translating and explaining medications and treatments, and communicated verbiage from the doctors. Heather gave me peace of mind, which I attribute to a better recovery for me. She was also very kind and welcoming to my visiting family members who also commented and complemented her as well. Please extend my sincere and deepest heartfelt thank you to Heather for a job well done. You should feel very fortunate and proud to have such a quality and valued employee like Heather on your staff.
