Amelia has been an incredible nurse. She has taken extremely good care of our dad, G, while he was in ICU. We felt like she truly cared about him as a person not just a patient.
My sister and I flew in from Michigan and sat in the room for days with our dad while he was on a ventilator. We told her lots of stories about him and how much he liked politics. He loves watching Fox News and following the presidential election. So she came up with the slogan "Make G Great Again."
After a rough day, we came up to his room and Amelia had made signs and hung them all over with the "Make G Great Again" slogan. It made us so happy and we knew how much our dad would love it when he woke up. We loved it so much we went and had t-shirts made too!
She has been excellent answering questions and taking care of our dad's needs. She has picked up extra shifts to have our dad as a patient and has made it her personal goal to see him get better. She deserves this recognition for going above and beyond in patient care.
