I cannot count the number of times I have experienced moments of awe of Beth's care. Beth has shown me so many times what it is to be an ER nurse. I have seen Beth take on what I believed to be more than one person can handle and she does it with an ease and grace comparable to none other. I was having a very difficult time understanding cardiac rhythms on the monitor and I discussed with Beth how I felt inadequate in this area. Beth invited me to her home on her day off and sat with me for hours going over this subject in a way that I understood. I don't think she realizes how much this meant to me. I discussed with her how I wasn't familiar with the crash cart. She took the time to take it apart and show and explain every inch of it. She is never bothered when a favor is asked. She helps everyone. She is so kind and treats her patients with the utmost dignity and respect. I feel so comforted when she is here; she is exactly what this award is all about.
