My husband had his first heart stents placed on Wednesday. Wes was our nurse. He was so compassionate and caring. I was very emotional and worried, and he helped calm my fears and also helped me help him as well. He always made time for us and never acted like we were a burden or a bother.
My husband was readmitted two months later due to a malfunctioning stent. Even though Wes wasn't our nurse he still came to check-in to make sure we were ok. You can genuinely see he cares. My husband was readmitted the next month and Wes was again his nurse. Again the same smile and happy attitude. Memorial should be so grateful to have him on your team. He makes scary hospital stays less stressful knowing he is taking care of my husband. He always calms my fears, answers all my questions, and advocates for my husband.
This is a very special man. He has been very positive, upbeat, considerate, and thorough about his job. He has been a great nurse. Loved my visit here. Enjoyed Wes! Thank you for treating me like family.
Because my husband had syncope, Wes always took great care, was compassionate, and kind when helping my husband to a chair. He was pleasant at all times in the room. When my husband was discharged from an 8-day stay, he was very weak. Wes was patient with the transition process, the care, and in explaining what the process would include.
We had a cart full of personal items to also take downstairs. I had a knee replacement. When Wes saw me struggling to push the cart, he pushed it downstairs, waited while I brought my car, and put everything in my car for me. Wes is kind, compassionate, and definitely went above and beyond his daily responsibilities.
