Denise is everything a nurse should be, kind, compassionate, selfless, and above all caring.
She went above and beyond what needed to be done to make sure my husband was comfortable and safe. She did not take a lunch and stayed late when he needed to be cared for. She always explained what was happening and why it was happening. It was a scary time for our entire family and she made us all feel he was in good hands.
When a member of your family is in the hospital the one thing you always want to know is they are safe.
Denise put in for a special bed for my husband and kept following up to make sure the bed would arrive. She engaged the wound care nurse to ensure his wounds were addressed.
