Jodie provided exceptional nursing care for my mom. Jodie saw my distress and tried to put my mind at ease. She made several phone calls until she got me names with extensions of whom I could contact. I knew there was nothing else humanly possible that she could do, but she stepped up and went out of her way to help me. I was so appreciative because I felt like someone heard me. Jodie kept pushing to get me something to hold onto; all the while, never neglecting my mom's care. She handled her with both dignity and compassion. Additionally, she "let me in" by sharing about her own personal tragedy. She shared about her own emotional struggles and made me feel understood because sometimes, when you're frightened, all the "if I can do anything, just let me know" doesn't help. I hope someone hears my story and recognizes Jodie, for what I consider extraordinary care. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
