Amy was the day RN on duty when my Mother was admitted to the stroke unit. She was there for 4 days (Sat-Tues) in a row for 12 hours each day. She was in charge of not only my Mother but several other very sick stroke patients. She was tireless, attentive, professional, and kind throughout. My mother had a UTI that kept her pushing the call bell every 15 minutes. Amy's patience and understanding were incredible. One morning when Mom's breakfast try arrived with the wrong order, I tried to correct it; as Amy listened to the conversation, she quickly volunteered to "right the wrong" and took care of us. She always went above and beyond the call of duty.
