Shayne has treated our little miracle with such kindness for the 3 days she was her nurse. She comforted our daughter when she was fussy and made sure she was asleep or at least calm before putting her back down. It made it much easier to leave our daughter knowing she was in such caring and gentle hands. Shayne has a true passion for babies and nursing. She definitely found her calling when she decided to be a NICU RN.
Aside from the attention and care she provided our daughter, she was equally as friendly and caring towards my husband and me. She was patient with us as we asked many questions and explained things in a way we could understand.
She has gone above and beyond any expectations, we ever could have had. When we came to visit on Father's Day, she made a birth announcement and hung it above our daughter's bed. She also made my husband a card from our daughter with her tiny footprints. These 2 gestures meant more to us than Shayne could ever know.
