I have been in the Sanford Health Center four times in six weeks. Hand by step, by hour, Phil worked harder than anyone has ever, to help me with my pain, my needs and my wants. He is doing good for me. He really cares from his heart, as a good person should. Please realize the value you have in him.

On June 19th, I was transferred to the 5000 Unit at Sanford and Phil was my nurse from 7PM to 7AM. Phil made sure I was comfortable, that my fiance was OK. He made sure I got my pain meds without me having to put on my call light.

On June 23rd I had surgery on my elbow and found my way back to the 5000 Unit. My fiance saw Phil in the hallway and said hello and explained that I was back, due to pain from surgery. Phil was not my nurse that night, but he came and checked on me a couple times in the night and helped my assigned nurse. Phil went above and beyond what a normal nurse would do. I want to tell Phil, "thank you for taking such awesome care of me in my time of need".

Phil always provides his patients with care that exceeds their expectation. All would say they think Phil is only caring for them. He listens and responds to their individual needs. He is calm, professional and always present for patients and coworkers.
