Maggie was caring for a patient who was a full LET. Throughout the day the patient repeatedly told her he was getting ready to pass but since he was Catholic he wanted to complete confession and get his final rights. Maggie compassionately and diligently made phone calls and found a Catholic Priest to come to complete his final wishes. She sat with him throughout the day to keep him company until his family could come to say their goodbyes. Maggie made him comfortable and feel good before his time. During her last assessment of the day, he said, "I am ready now and you are my little angel who made it possible". He then passed a few hours later with all his final wishes fulfilled and surrounded by his family, thanks to Maggie. This is one of many examples of how Maggie goes above and beyond for her patients every day.
