... I was an inpatient here and Katie was my nurse. I felt very comfortable and at ease while in her care that day. I feel that she went above and beyond for me that day. As I was getting my hair washed, I went into tao a full blown panic attack. She immediately got on her phone an informed my doctor. Instead of leaving me she stayed with me and calmed me down by getting me to take deep breaths and sitting with me and talking to me. She was successful in getting me calm. Then throughout the day she came into my room numerous times just to make sure I was doing okay. It was very refreshing to see her dedication to her work and her patients. She is always smiling. She made me feel that regardless of how many other patients she had that day, my well being and if I was going to be okay was very important to her.
