I was admitted to the Emergency Room in severe pain having atrial fibrillation and a heart attack. There were many people working on me. Brenda clearly knew exactly what to do and kept my daughter fully informed of my status. She was clearly an experienced and excellent nurse. This gave me the comfort to know I was in good hands. She demonstrated leadership when they were providing a shock to my heart and knew everyone's role.
As an old nurse myself, it was very comforting to have a nurse so knowledgeable directing my nursing care.
I want to thank Brenda who helped me in my time of need.

About nine years ago, my youngest son had a febrile seizure and was brought in by ambulance. Scariest moment of my life! Brenda was the most caring, composed and good-natured nurse I have ever had in any ER. Brenda took care of our son and communicated with the anesthesiologist and us as a parent. I owe Brenda so much that can never be repaid other than through our gratitude and respect forever.
She later pulled me aside and told me how her son had febrile seizures when he was little. She told me all of the things she did when he had any kind of fever..too much to expand on here. She also gave me her personal cell phone number to call if I ever needed to talk or needed anything (something I am sure she did because she knew I worked at the hospital and I wasn't a stranger).
I am so thankful for Brenda and her caring ways! She is truly a GEM!
