Marilyn has been a nurse at SMH for well over 35 years! Her dedication to SMH, her patients, and her colleagues is unsurpassed by none. She gives 200% each and every day. Marilyn is an expert in Neurosciences. She has been a driving force in the development and the on-going growth for SMH being a Comprehensive Stroke organization. Marilyn has served as a leader, educator, mentor, patient advocate, and advisor.
Marilyn is a very dedicated nurse and mentor. She always puts the patient first and goes out of her way to make sure that each patient she interacts with has the best possible outcome. Marilyn volunteers monthly at the epilepsy services in the community clinical. She has volunteered at this clinic for over 20 years. Marilyn sees our stroke patient at the bedside daily and ensures that each patient understands their stroke diagnosis and self-care management plan.
