Leo Cayanong, RN is one of our Preceptor 2's who was working with the Internship program. He was precepting one of the Interns. However, when the pandemic began, he volunteered to help create the agency's first COVID SWAT TEAM. Leo did not think twice, knowing that his expertise in taking care of these vulnerable patients would be beneficial. His Swat Team partner, Brooke Savino, requested him to be her partner since she trusts him to keep her safe as well with the SWAT Team process. Leo has a lot on the line. His elderly parents live with him. Taking this position puts him and them at risk. Still, he did not hesitate.
Leo is a compassionate and knowledgeable nurse. He loves teaching new nurses. He is well-liked by his patients and his teammates. It is a pleasure to have Leo in this organization.
