Heather is such a huge asset to this hospital. Her kindness and caring are unmatched. I have been in and out of the hospital for 6 weeks and I've been all over. Heather has been my best nurse. She really tries to build that 1:1 relationship.
Every time she came into my room, she took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. She got down on my level, helped me make sense of things. Anything I needed or asked for, she was there. She did things that weren't even her job. She cleaned me up, she straightened my tray, helped me get my socks on, bring me water or socks - she did it all!
Heather was also very knowledgeable about my condition, my medicines, and was always able to tell me what was going to happen next. Between her compassion, knowledge, and skills, I have never met a better nurse. DCH is so lucky to have such an amazing person working for them.
