This nurse has been an outstanding care giver during my chemotherapy treatments!
She is very attentive and makes sure I get everything I need. She takes her job seriously and goes the extra mile. Literally, she is a lifesaver!
Back in December during my chemotherapy, I began having seizure symptoms and passed out. She helped to get me stabilized and then contacted my oncologist and cardiologist about my episode. Through her diligence and follow-up, I was referred to KU Emergency. After a few days in the hospital I was stronger and allowed to go home.
Six weeks later I returned for more chemo and by God's grace I was assigned to this nurse again. And yes, I had another episode but this time I went into cardiac arrest. Due to her fast thinking, she summoned the Rapid Response Team and they were able to restart my heart. She truly is a life saver along with her wonderful team!
