Sandy Federico is a committed professional and an asset to VNA. She demonstrates superb technical and assessment skills that result in positive outcomes for her patients. Sandy is someone you can go to when you have a difficult or challenging situation that needs resolution and feel confident she will get the job done. She is rarely ruffled by challenging situations and often manages difficult patients with ease.
She is skilled at being creative and figuring out ways to provide great care, in the most impossible situations, largely due to her flexibility and willingness to work with patients within the constraints provided. Her work ethic is extraordinary, she is always willing to see additional patients and work long hours and never complains. Sandy continually demonstrates her devotion and commitment to the VNA Mission most recently, by volunteering to be a member of our SWAT team, providing care to patients positive for COVID-19. She has been devoted to managing these patients at home and preventing hospital readmission. She continually places patients, coworkers, and the VNA as a priority.
