I feel privileged that Erika was my night nurse during my short stay at GSAM. Erika was an amazing advocate that provided the highest quality of care and respect during my stay. She was caring and compassionate which is a core value of a good nurse. Erika's attention to detail from following through on communicating with the doctors, making sure orders are followed, proper medication dosages, and making sure the medicine was administered at the scheduled time. She always discussed the medicine that she would be giving me and if it was new who ordered it and what medical issue it was for. Erika communicated all the tests that were ordered and followed up when the results were in the system.
I observed Erika's dealings with the techs and other nurses was always professional, pleasant, and instructional. Erika always had a smile on her face which as a patient was critical to my stay and recovery. I believe Erika is a true DAISY Nurse.
