Beth was our night nurse upon arrival. We shortly came back after surgery due to complications. She could instantly tell that not only my daughter was exhausted, but so was I. She stayed on top of communication with doctors on making sure she got the best care she needed. I contribute this to the main reason why my daughter got a secondary stent that she desperately needed. We were here not only on a weekend but on a holiday weekend. And she made sure every step of the way that everyone put their best foot forward for us. She helped with distracting my daughter during difficult times and made the experience as fun as possible with dancing and jokes. She even got a very special nickname of "Nurse Pants" from my daughter. Before leaving on what was most likely the last shift we would see her again she left a very cute and adorable special treat at the end of her bed to wake up to. She put a lot of effort into making the wrapping look like a piece of candy (I have pictures). Inside of this very special wrapping was a pair of "Nurse Pants" (scrubs) with a very special message written on them for my daughter. We will treasure this gift more than any of the other toys or gifts that my daughter received during her stay. We cannot say enough kind words about Beth and the care we received from her. She became the temporary best friend I needed during this difficult time, due to the visitor restrictions that left me alone during our stay. I cannot effectively express the gratitude I feel towards Beth (aka Nurse Pants) through words!
