Diego had a full patient load, however, he was an immense help in guiding me through the use of the burn shower despite having several other responsibilities at hand. The patient I was caring for was transported to the burn care unit from a separate floor, however, Diego helped despite the patient not belonging to his load of already numerous responsibilities. This is not the first time Diego has willingly helped me on the Burn floor.
He is an excellent asset to the burn unit and an incredibly talented and knowledgeable nurse. I always look forward to working with Diego, and he always seems to be available when staff is limited or during emergency circumstances with critically ill patients. Diego is the epitome of a recipient of this honor.
