I've worked with over 50 nurses in my short career and Shobha by far is the best nurse out there. She is kind, caring, and compassionate. She is always making patient safety her #1 priority. I love it when we get teamed together in the OR. She is my best friend when we work together.

Shobha is the most caring and efficient nurse around. She is always going above and beyond for patient care and as a team for her coworkers. She always goes above and beyond to make that patient going into surgery just a little more comfortable and calmer. She is always the first to ask if the patient wants a warm blanket or what kind of music they would like to listen to. Shobha goes above and beyond for all her patients.
***
Shobha is very conscientious. She shows up early to work to make sure everything is ready. When the snowstorm hit, Shobha volunteered to stay the night so everyone else could go home. She always comes in and helps when she is free. She never sits down, but rather always finds things to do or help with. Shobha comes every day with a smile and keeps a positive attitude. Shobha is hard working. She is always willing to come in extra is needed.

Shobha brings a constant feeling of comfort and positivity to the surgical department. She is always ready to help and serve the patient and does it with a happy presence. Doctors and nurses always use the phrase "be like Shobha" because of her genuine kindness. Her attention to detail protects her patients as well as pleases her surgeons and team.
When the last snowstorm hit, Shobha volunteered to stay the night so her workmates could safely go home.

My first day working at Platte Valley, Dr. F gave me some great advice, "Be like Shobha." I soon learned what he meant. She knows the surgeons inside and out, works harder than any nurse I have ever met, never complains, always volunteers for vacant shifts, and chips in when we are understaffed. Always with a smile on her face. One day I commented on how I wish I was more like Shobha cause she never gets tired and the surgeon said, "Yes, she does. She just doesn't show it." Shobha has grit ad grain and I am proud I get to work with her every day.
