My mother was recently in ICU. Her illness was so sudden and new diagnosis of lung cancer. She was on the vent for 10 days. She had lung biopsies and chemo and it was very hard for family members during this time. We can't be at their bedside to comfort and protect our loved ones.
Lynn was so comforting to our family with current updates on care, giving us peace for a moment that mom was in good hands. On my mother's final evening Lynn was at her bedside with my sister and me and her support and comforting words helped us through the process of saying goodbye to my mom. I think Lynn is the top-notch of nursing care at Mercy. She also sent a card to my mother's funeral. She didn't have to do that.
Lynn was amazing at her job, but her kindness made her human. Attention is not something she feels she is deserving of, but Lynn you were wonderful. Lynn was so patient, empathetic, and honest and we loved her. She was amazing. Thank you so much.
