I have been a hospitalist for 20 years. Elsie is unique in many ways. She does her work in such a way and with a smile at this late stage of her career and does it so perfectly that I cannot think of any other nurse like her. She knows her patients well, always figures it out before the patient deteriorates, and takes care of her patients as if they were her own family members. I have always told her that I want her to take care of me when and if I am sick. She is the best!!
Kindred is a long term acute care hospital, has the sickest patients. It is a very demanding job both physically and emotionally. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
