Carol Lee was with my husband for the first four days after his intubation. When she found out that I was sitting in the parking lot, she came down to meet and pray for me. She asked questions about what songs he liked and let me tell her about how wonderful he is to me. She prayed and sang in his ear whenever he became restless.
Later, Carol Lee used FaceTime to allow him to hear the church members who had gathered in the hospital parking lot to pray. My daughter and I also got to "talk to him" before we signed off (that was priceless to us). She gave me directions that helped me find his window and put a red paper in the window with scripture so I could see it.
I know that you have many great nurses here, but Carol Lee has gone over and above in her care for my husband and his family.
