Paula was assigned to my mom one night in the ICU. When my mom had an unexpected episode to occur, Paula led the charge along with about 11 other nurses to keep my mom in the land of the living. I was amazed at how well organized the team worked together with so many in the room and yet it was not chaotic at all. Everyone seemed to know exactly what to do and when to do it. From my vantage point, she gave the doctor a thorough report of what had occurred so that he could make an accurate assessment. By the time I was allowed back into the room, Paula was comforting my mom and assuring her that everything was going to be alright. She cleaned her up, rubbed her down, and sang hymnals along with my mom to help calm and soothe her. I was so impressed with the level of care provided by Paula and the other staff members.
