There are numerous instances where Don has gone above and beyond to serve our veterans and staff.
1) Volunteers for door screener daily for 2 hours for COVID-19.
2) Assists lab with duties, especially for Team B veterans not on the appointment list, special needs, and "hard sticks."
3) Pleasant personality makes veterans and staff happy by engaging in conversation during stressful times.
4) Numerous occasions assisted veterans with hygiene needs once arrived at the clinic and had "accident" and were unable to care for themselves.
5) Seeks out assistance for veterans through other service lines and disciplines as indicated.

Mr. Don is the definition of "I CARE." He goes above and beyond for every one of our veterans. Since COVID-19, Mr. Don has volunteered for at least one shift every day, sometimes two or three shifts. He never complains. He is very honest and respectful. He shows respect to all, even when he doesn't get it in return. He is committed to serving our veterans and strives for excellence in all that he does.
