Amber is very empathetic and compassionate, as well as nurturing – my needs are met.
Amber Lea Lambert has provided quality medical care like no other medical professional I've encountered. I cannot be any clearer when I say she 100% without a doubt deserves the recognition of her healing touch and patient care through the DAISY Award.
I nominate Amber Lambert. Nobody deserves the DAISY Award as she does. Every patient with her is exactly as it should be but better. Amber is amazing. I've told her, "I wish you were my family doctor because I've never had a nurse or doctor that was so thorough with results, procedures, etc." Explaining the details and taking the time to answer my questions without feeling rushed, put aside, etc., is so important to me. It demonstrates the care an individual has for their patient. This is Amber Lambert. Even on issues that are out of her field, she has always gotten me connected to who I needed to address issues and/or my concerns with someone specialized in that field.
Every email, she responds she has never made me feel unimportant, ignored, or not remembered.
She is a mentor because I feel comfortable opening up to her about anything. This is how she's connected me with other departments or social workers. Amber is very empathetic and compassionate, as well as nurturing - my needs are met. She goes above and beyond and nobody has ever treated me as well as she has. She cares and it shows. She is an outstanding nurse and although I don't know her outside of her profession, I'm willing to bet she is an exceptional person in general. She has the ability to connect with a patient because she listens, asks questions, answers questions with her professional knowledge but has also admitted she felt she had to research a particular medication I'd taken but she wasn't familiar with. This is a sign that she makes time for her patients and has their health as her number one concern. It would be much easier to just prescribe this particular medication but she didn't. She was sure to look into this medication that isn't very well known.
Amber is always available, I mean she makes sure to respond to her emails. Most often, people reach out to complain. I am taking time to be sure to communicate to UMC that Amber Lea Lambert, FNP, is an extraordinary nurse. I couldn't possibly receive healthcare any better than she has provided. Again, she goes above and beyond what is expected of her. I know she has got to be very busy while meeting the demands of her responsibilities. I also know she makes me feel important; which is what a patient needs. It is great to have someone not only knowledgeable, personable, and compassionate but also who demonstrates a non-judgmental attitude at all times. Amber Lambert is the best medical professional I have ever in my 55 years of life felt so thankful to have for her medical opinion and her attention to patients. She is perfect and represents UMC in every way it wants to be known for.
