Jay showed such phenomenal leadership skills during a recent shift. All units were incredibly busy and Jay had no issue jumping in to help when he saw the need. He placed at least two IVs, passed medications, kept in constant communication with the charge nurses, and walked the floor to identify any potential needs. All of this on top of his regular duties. Jay is the kind of person I believe we should all strive to be like. He is helpful, compassionate, empathetic and most of all a fantastic role model for everyone who comes in contact with him. South Meadows has achieved a wonderful honor by being named Nevada's Best Hospital. Jay is one of the many reasons. I feel incredibly lucky to call him my colleague. Jay, thank you for being such an influential part of our incredible team.
