Being in the hospital can be stressful and scary, especially when you're dealing with surgery. I had been having such a stressful day when Mitch took over my care. As soon as she came into the room, I could tell that she really cared about me, not just as a patient, but as a person. She took the time to talk to me about my concerns and fears. She reassured me that she was my advocate and would work to figure out solutions to my problems. She did what she said she would do. She got in touch with providers and advocated. She took the time to look through my chart and get everything organized. She also took the time to keep me updated throughout the whole process. It made a stressful day much, much better.

I would like to thank Mitch. She was that nurse who listened to me. I will remember her for the rest of my life. I will remember everybody I came in contact with. Mitch is the kind of nurse who really takes pride in her patients.
