As a first-time mom giving birth in the middle of a global pandemic I was very anxious about giving birth to my baby girl. Little did I know that I'd be lucky enough to get Ali as my nurse for the delivery. I couldn't have asked for a more incredible nurse to help me through this experience. Ali was calm and collected throughout my delivery which infected me with an equally calm state of mind. She also provided the perfect amount of encouragement, telling me I was doing great and explaining what I needed to do and when. I also adored her for calmly and explicitly explaining to my husband what was happening and what he needed to do. He desperately wanted to feel like an active member of the experience, and she made sure that he was. I will be forever grateful that Ali was my nurse for my first baby during this insane time in history.
