Andraya is a spirit ignitor! No matter what is going on, she always brings a positive vibe to our unit! Not only is she a delight to work with, but she is also very knowledgeable and compassionate at the bedside. You always know that her patients and their family members are in good hands.
Recently our unit received a letter from the family of a patient who passed away after a cardiac arrest. The patient had two school aged children. Andraya took the time to create two gifts for the children including a hand print of their dad and a copy of his heart rhythm rolled up in a bottle. Reading this letter brought my co-workers and me to tears. The compassionate family-centered care that Andraya provided was above and beyond, congruent with the mission and vision here at Providence, and encompasses the qualities of a DAISY Award Honoree.
