Shontel is truly exceptional. Had we not been so fortunate to have her and the other nurses working with us during the night of our delivery, I have no doubt in my mind that the outcome would have been different (unfavorable) as a result of some challenging circumstances. Shontel cared for us as if we were members of her family, and she even came and visited us the next day to make sure everything was still going well. Her sense of excitement, determination, and enthusiasm made it seem as though we were her first and only patients, but her knowledge, demeanor, and confidence told a different story. I couldn't think of a more critical moment to have the right people in the room, and we feel that we couldn't have had a better group of individuals. The birth of our first child is something we will never forget, and a large component of that story is wonderful people who provided us with great care.
