I have had Tori as my nurse during multiple stays at Mission. This time, I had to go an extra mile for her because she is always doing that for me and, I'm sure, for her other patients. No matter how serious the situation, no matter how chaotic things become, she is always calm, has a smile on her face, is incredibly compassionate and caring, and knows exactly what to say to soothe an upset patient.
I have been in severe pain during my visit due to an infection. Tori has shown endless compassion and care and does everything in her power to ensure that my stay is as pain-free, safe and pleasant as possible. She is a boundless source of inspiration and energy and incredibly wise. I always feel better when Tori is my nurse!

Following emergency surgery, we met Tori, she was an angel. She was professional, responsible and had a kind spirit. We enjoyed our interactions and the care she provided. I was grateful for her warmth and caring touch. She demonstrated strong clinical skills through observing and monitoring my daily progression towards wellness.

From the first day we met Tori, my mother and I felt a real connection. Tori exuded warmth, compassion, and a genuine concern for my mother's well-being. With every visit to my mom's room that has not changed…in fact, Tori's care and concern increased. My mother told me that Tori made her feel safe. She made her feel like she was truly important, and that her health and comfort was of the utmost importance. I've witnessed Tori's excellent care and concern for my mom, and that in turn made me feel relieved - knowing my mother was truly cared for. Tori's bright smile and shining eyes light up the room when she enters, what a pleasure! Several times during my mother's week-long stay she experienced some painful episodes which caused her to feel some anxiety...Tori would tell my mom "I'll be right back with meds" and she would be! That made my mom and myself so pleased. Tori has also taken her time to pat on my mom gently, warmly, and sweetly - a very soothing gesture. She made sure to treat my mom like a human being, and I feel that must come naturally to Tori. She is an excellent nurse!
