Tina is incredibly supportive and nurturing and fosters an environment of respect and teamwork that enables us to give excellent patient care. She is an excellent leader, always available. Tina leads with her own example of compassion and deep care for our patients and for us.
Personally, Tina is like a sister to me, loyal and caring with sincerity and genuine concern that is short of amazing. She pours herself 100% into her performance in all aspects, whether it be HCAHPS, quality, performance, and what sets her apart is her unquestionable dedication, commitment, and sacrifices. She pours her heart and soul as Nurse Manager as evidence by the high regard, love, and respect that her staff has given her. She is empathetic and an advocate for all. She championed our matrix revision to improve delivery of care via appropriate staffing.
Tina ALWAYS has a positive, warm, caring and compassionate attitude. I have seen her beliefs in action praying over patients and or staff. She is an excellent Manager and great role model for nurses and NTU staff to emulate. During leader rounding, she always takes the time to sit and talk with patients and their families, helping their overall physical and emotional recovery. Tina provides a safe haven for staff both physically and emotionally.
Tina is not only a mentor but a compassionate leader. I recently had a family emergency that turned my world upside down. Tina was there to help me handle my personal life and provided support that enabled me to return to work. She never judged me, but instead provide wisdom, compassion, and empathy which correlated to our vision as nurses.
Tina is a fearless leader and great role model. She is always cheerful and optimistic regardless of the circumstances. She is kind to patients and staff, wearing her many hats that include direct patient care when she observes a need (i.e., walking a patient to the restroom). She leads by example and holds us to a high standard so that patients are able to receive the best care possible. Tina's compassion towards her staff members and the patients on the unit is beyond great. She has given me the strength to endure in this very demanding profession.
Tina's compassionate service and dedication to our patients and her excellent leadership allow each of us to better care for our patients. Her empathy, passion, and love for what she does are evident in her work.
Tina is very compassionate with excellent skills and simply an amazing nurse manager. Our unit has grown and consistently performed well with HCAHPS and employee engagement, thanks to her top-notch performance as a nurse leader. She is well loved by doctors, peers, patients, and families. The unit has blossomed into a high performing team under her guidance as a steadfast leader.
Tina's selfless ways, mannerisms, compassion allow NTU to love Tina! We are so blessed to have her as our Nurse Manager. Tina creates an environment of compassion, camaraderie, and professionalism among her staff. She has been a role model for over nine years that I have known her. She works with a smile and positive disposition at all times. Tina is to be honored and recognized for the success of NTU. Staff, patients, and family members love Tina and admire her commitment and sacrifice for her NTU family.
Tina is an extraordinary Nurse Leader and deserving recipient of the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. She is an excellent role model for compassionate care. She is a great manager, supervisor, and educator, and provides an environment full of trust, support, motivation, respect, and consistent professional development for those who provide care, promote healing and wellness for the whole person (which is GAMC's vision). She is a great mentor and is always available to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork. Tina is by far the best! Kind, compassionate, and the perfect example to us all! Thank you, Tina! I appreciate you very much!
The moment I was hired, Tina made me feel supported and part of the team. She is constantly encouraging us and ensures the patient's needs are met. She mentors to foster learning and encourage critical thinking. She is the best leader anyone could ask for.
Tina is an amazing team leader and always available to help her nurses and staff members. Her smile is contagious, always giving encouraging remarks and makes everyone feel loved and welcome to NTU! She is a very dedicated, hard worker, and committed to GAMC and our statement of faith. Love her a lot.
Tina is wonderful, kind, caring, patient and excellent as a hardworking Nurse Manager. She gives me the power of an RN with confidence. She's a great motivator and team leader. Tina shows great understanding with her nurses and staff. She is a great role model of what compassionate and caring nursing practice looks like when working with our patients and nursing staff.
Tina is caring and passionate to all her coworkers as well as the patients and visitors. She understands all of our needs.
Tina is always eager to offer guidance and has always been very approachable for questions. She is a very effective leader, making our environment safe and pleasant for patients and staff.
Tina is very understanding to the needs of her staff. Very accommodating and hardworking, and gives 100% to support each and every one of us in NTU.
Tina is the sun in the solar system of NTU. Without her, planets (nurses) have nothing (no one) to revolve around, and patients are cared better for when she is around.
Tina goes above and beyond for her unit and staff. She has been my mentor from day one. I never feel miserable coming to work because I know Tina is always there to support us and encourage us to grow. She is always very approachable, working hard to make our unit better and encourage her staff. She is always smiling no matter what, and that truly inspires all of us.
We all know how stressful the position of Nurse Manager can be, but Tina always keeps a smile on her face and supports us. She is not only our leader but also steps up to help other units when there is a need. She has even come in to help out the unit during her vacation time. I cannot emphasize how much we all appreciate everything Tina does for us.
As a Nurse Manager, Tina has shown exceptional skills! There is a saying, "People don't leave jobs; they leave managers!" Tina is the reason so many of our nurses have stayed. She's the reason we have a high retention of older and more experienced nurses still in our unit. She does not rule with a stick, but with a gentle hand. She commands respect without fear and is a mother, colleague, and friend. There is no one more deserving, hardworking, and dedicated than Tina. In fact, she doesn't even expect recognition. She has been known to come in to help out when she's supposed to be on vacation, tirelessly assisting other units during a crisis. NTU has been consistent in high HCAHPS scores across the board under her leadership. NTU has some of the hardest and most challenging patient populations, and yet we score consistently high with patient satisfaction, as Tina is the DREAM in the TEAM!
