My Mom arrived just after shift change to 7A. Having been a past employee on 7B, I knew what a difficult time that was to get a new admit. Ed was great!! Here's what Mom said (also a retired RN):
"Ed showed wonderful compassion and great nursing skills. He noticed I was so sick and was having trouble eating. He sat down and fed me in such a way as to not make me feel embarrassed or afraid to ask for more. And then took the time to clean up my soup and Jell-O mess! I knew he had many others to care for, but he made me feel as if I was his only patient. Thank you, Ed!"
