When my mother was a patient in the ICU, we were very concerned. Kara showed extraordinary care and compassion for my mother and all of the family whowereinvolved. She took the time to really listen and gain an understanding of what our family concerns were. Kara coordinated a meeting with another family member, the CNO, and the case manager to proactively promote communications of my mother's care. With Kara's superior knowledge, she articulated the needs of my mother and focused on her continuing improvement that resulted in excitement, team work, and understanding for all of us in the meeting. While doing all of this, she was also attending to the demands of my mother's altered mental state, physical state, and so many numerous other needs as well as activities for her other patients. Kara assisted in orchestrating additional conversations with the doctor so that we could have all of our concerns addressed and questions answered. She is outstanding! She was attentive to grieving families. Kara is the best multi-tasker I have ever had the pleasure to witness.
