Andi Masters, RN BSN, Director of Nursing.
Jeannie cares for all patients- young and old- and helps them with placements, finances, and even volunteers to drive them different places. She is one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever met. When we are busy on the floor, she comes out of her office (where she is never caught up) and helps with any and all patient cares.
Jeannie has organized the computer for us when we had a lot of changes and confusion and that is not even in her job description. She helps different departments understand the others’ jobs and makes work so much easier for everyone.
She is there whenever anyone needs her. She sweeps floors, cleans the ER, changes patient’s beds, helps them to understand things that are happening to them, and is so kind to everyone!
Jeannie is an RN that is the UR/Risk/QA RN, but volunteers for anything and everything she is needed for. She comes in after hours and on her days off and helps the Med/Surg department and doctors figure out our new computer system.
I cannot think of one time she has been asked to help someone out that she has ever refused and she smiles while doing any and every job.
