Rebecca was nominated by the wife of one of her patients. She stated Rebecca is the definition of who and what a nurse is. She was kind, caring, professional, and proactive. She was involved in his plan of care, let us know each step and what the goals were, and made us feel empowered and involved. There is a huge difference between doing a job and doing your life's work. Rebecca is doing her life's work. She is an exceptional nurse, not only to us but also to the nursing profession. She is truly deserving of this recognition and simply put she is extraordinary.
